Experience

At Peligoni Ski we understand how important it is to get it right and to exceed expectations. While choosing the right accommodation is of course extremely important, there are so many other factors that differentiate a good holiday from a great one. Time is a precious commodity and we know that as an agency we only get one shot to create the right experience for you – one that will hopefully be the most memorable experience on the slopes you’ve ever had.

Though we pride ourselves on offering the very best in service and accommodation options for your ski holiday, we also want to take that one step further and tempt you into an experience you may not have known is possible or existed.

Below are a few ideas that we hope might catch your eye. Covering both the mundane and the adventurous side to going on holiday, all of our ideas are designed to make your experience with Peligoni Ski that much better. Every time we come across new experiences and good ideas that will make your ski holiday that much more memorable, we will be sure to let you know and hope to have tried them out ourselves.

British Columbia Heliskiing

There is no greater feeling than taking off in your own private helicopter filled with friends to embark on an epic adventure in one of the most amazing ski locations in the world. British Columbia offers glorious blue skies, blissful hour long runs of perfect, light, champagne powder and best of all, no tiresome ski lift queues. Quite simply, this is how we would define a perfect day on the snow. Join up to an existing booking as a couple or take a private tour and helicopter for yourself or you and some friends.

We have two bases in BC that we think are fantastic called Ripley Creek and Bell 2 Lodge. Both offer exhilarating skiing in a slightly different style. If you can’t decide on which lodge we offer to go to, don’t panic, you can now do a ski safari from one to the other. How does 3 nights in Ripley and then 3 nights in Bell 2 Lodge sound.. Give us a call to find out more.

Ski Safari

The latest craze to hit the European ski scene is the guided ski safari, it is the perfect option for those craving a little more than the average ski holiday.

Ski Safaris’ typically consist of a 6 day guided ski tour, stopping at and staying in, different traditional and charming mountain hotels along the way. The experience offers the unique opportunity to spend each day exploring a different valley in the company of a knowledgeable, local guide, who can tailor the safari to your fitness levels and abilities. A typical day might include skiing before a three course lunch in three separate restaurants. There’s a focus on experiencing and enjoying the delicious, fresh local cuisine and some of the best wines; making it the ideal holiday for any foodie. We’d best describe it as a completely unique adventure, which perfectly combines the leisurely way of life alongside excellent efficiency. Below are two example itineraries of our Ski Safaris in Italy and Zermatt.

You can extend the itinerary by a few days to get the most of the area or reduce the it by a day or two if you don’t have a week to spare.

Childcare

On any family holiday, it’s extremely important that the little ones, or not so little ones, are having a great time. We carefully select and vet the childcare companies we choose to recommend and work alongside, so that you can always remain assured that your children are in the very best hands. We recognise your time on the mountain is precious and we want you feel completely relaxed; confident in the knowledge that the kids are having just as much of a fantastic time as you. Getting the childcare right is a priority for us, so it’s one less thing for you to think about.

Flights & Transfers

We can sort all manner of flights and transfers for you. From scheduled and charter flight, private jets and helicopters to shared coaches, private cars, trains and hot air balloons. Let us know how you want to get to resort and we’ll be sure to sort this out for you.

We have a fantastic partnership with the Glacier Express team so getting to Switzerland has never been so exciting and comfortable. Enjoy a three course lunch on the train with a ceiling of glass in the train. With a direct journey to Zermatt this is the most civilized way to travel.

Private Guides & Instructors

When experiencing a new resort, we can make sure you’re able to ski the best snow, get to lunch on time and make it where you want to be whenever you want to be there. We use the best ski instructors and guides which can be booked both privately and in groups for all ages. We can arrange morning, afternoon or full day lessons and guides, off piste training, race training and pretty much everything else you can think of. Essentially, you’ll come back a far better skier than before you left.

Non-Ski Activities

It’s not all about skiing, we need some time off the mountain to unwind. Let us organise Spa treatments, physio sessions and much more, all in the comfort of your own chalet. We can also organise any activity from ice climbing, ice driving and hot air balloon rides to husky sledging, night skiing, dinners in an igloo, skidooing, firework displays and ice carving lessons, to name just a few…

Fun for the Kids

Sadly there are some days when the snow is falling and you need to entertain the children with some extra fun. We can let you know all about the other activities you can do. From the indoor pool, climbing ranges, cinema, crèche, ski school kids club and train rides, to just simply organising games, DVD players and nannies in your chalet or hotel. We promise that the children, no matter what age, will be fully occupied on any given day.

Fun for the Adults

Children are important but this is your holiday too. We aim to take all the stress out of organising your holiday, making it easier for you to concentrate on some ‘you’ time. Providing a private concierge service before your holiday, we’ll arrange any activity you might fancy doing as well as providing you with some fun ideas. We can arrange all restaurant bookings, transfers, car hire, flights, ski passes, equipment and lessons. Perhaps most importantly, we can advise on where to find the best nightife in resort, helping you to let your hair down while you’re away. If you think of anything else just let us know, we’ll be sure to organise that too!
